Our client, a renowned arts organisation, requires a Fundraising Coordinator to start as soon as possible. This is an ongoing temporary role lasting for at least two months and is paying £13 p/h plus holiday pay.

Main duties of the Fundraising Coordinator are:

  • Preparing meeting papers, coordinating internal and external attendance to meetings
  • Drafting letters to supporters and coordinating a mailing list going to 150 international supporters
  • Manage ad hoc projects from initial brief to completion
  • Keeping an up to date record tracking membership relationships
  • Responsible for setting agendas, drafting all relevant literature and sending out welcome packs for new members
  • Ensure correspondence are sent to print on time
  • Provide both organisational and admin support to the whole team, whilst acting as a first point of contact for international members
  • Oversee all membership administration
  • Support heads of department
  • Help to develop new and existing memberships
  • Arrange site visits, meetings and lunches for members
  • Respond to requests from members effectively
  • Tracking income and expenditure for the members

The successful candidate will have excellent organisation and communication skills and will have previous experience using Excel spreadsheets and good data management skills. You will have a good level of flexibility and be able to manage your workload and prioritise projects accordingly. The ability to work calmly under pressure and be able to work both well independently and as part of a team. A diplomatic approach is key as you will also be able to lead, motivate and develop support staff.

The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of arts organisation culture and also have experience with subscription memberships.
