Our client, an educational organisation, based in London requires a Personal Assistant to the Deputy Director to start immediately. This is an ongoing temporary position which is expected to last until March 2020.

The main duties of the Personal Assistant role are:

  • Being first point of contact
  • Complex and ever changing diary management
  • Dealing with and liaising effectively with senior staff externally and internally on a daily basis
  • Perform secretarial duties which will include booking meetings, room bookings, drafting outline agenda, coordinating and circulating papers, minute taking, following up actions and keeping updated action logs as required
  • Ensure papers for meetings are prepared to deadline
  • Monitor and manage emails during periods of absence and as required
  • Booking travel and accommodation
  • Format and editing documents - strong spelling and grammar
  • Actively contribute to the work of the wider team, providing absence cover for team colleagues as required.
  • Support management meetings

The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role. You need to have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, strong attention to detail, able to multi task, able to demonstrate professionalism, discretion and confidentiality at all times. You need to have strong organisational skills, and have good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
