My client, a global technology company are looking for a passionate and driven Junior HR Manager for their UK and Europe entities. Reporting into the Head of People, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the people function is thriving. This role is a predominantly office-based position with some work from home days. Travel around the UK and Europe will be required occasionally.
Role & Responsibilities
• Supporting on the full employee life cycle – recruitment, contracts and offers, onboarding, training, and development, all the way through to offboarding
• Implementing and updating company policies and procedures in line with changing legislation
• Work closely with payroll team to ensure accuracy across all sites
• Oversee compliance of new employees, ensuring correct checks and documents are in place
• Produce bi-weekly and quarterly reports to capture area of progress and potential improvements
Experience & Skills Required
• Hold a CIPD qualification
• Proven experience in a HR management role, ideally within a large organisation
• Highly resilient and confident in the work that they produce
• Self-starter – highly proactive and ‘plugged in’ to the wider HR community
• Extremely high stakeholder management skills
• Tech savvy, with an understanding of HRIS
• Strong understanding of UK employment law
