Energy Transport & Infrastructure Division A highly regarded, global law firm is seeking a Legal Associate to be based within their Energy Transport & Infrastructure team.
My client prides themselves on understanding the energy industry and realising the opportunities within traditional sectors as well as new technologies. Upstream or downstream, from exploration and generation to marketing and retail, they provide innovative advice and insight from a global perspective.
Their Infrastructure practice is one of the largest and most experienced of any international law firm. It combines a deep and current legal expertise with sophisticated marketplace knowledge and industry expertise. They are active in all infrastructure sectors across the globe.
Responsibilities include
Qualifications
Candidates must have a law degree or have passed professional examinations and completed up to a minimum of two years of practical experience.
Must be based in Dubai. Position does not come with relocation package.
Package
Salary – up to 35,000AED (£80,000) plus bonus
25 days annual leave

Responsibilities include
- runs chambers on behalf of principals, develops the practice, manages the flow of work, decides which cases to accept, arranges appropriate fees and prepares financial records;
- collates information, drafts briefs and other documents;
- interviews and advises clients, undertakes preparatory work for court cases;
- attends court to assist barristers and solicitors in the presentation of a case;
- assists in all aspects of property conveyancing and probate and common law practice.
Qualifications
