I am currently recruiting for one of my top clients, Luxembourg office. This is a Finance and Operations Analyst role, working for a super impressive investment firm. With offices around the globe, this role is based in Luxembourg where there is a delightful team of eight. This Finance and Operations Analyst role will sit within the team that handles financial and regulatory reporting, tax compliance and reporting, trade and cash management. As well as legal and compliance. This Finance and Operations Anaylst role will provide exposure to the firm’s financial operations in Europe and an understanding of its operations across the globe.
As a Finance and Operations Analyst, you will work closely with the Finance and Operations team in performing the accounts payable function, financial and regulatory reporting, various regulatory and tax filings and payments, and other day-to-day activities. Additional responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with various regulations, contributing to fund launches/closures and related entity incorporations/liquidations, and managing budgets and fund flows. You will also have the opportunity to work on projects such as supporting investment analysis and modelling.
My client is looking for someone with two years of experience in public accounting or in an accounting/reporting function at a hedge fund, investment manager, or other financial services firm are required, as is a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, business, and/or finance.
It is imperative that you are on the ball, ‘switched on’ proactive and detail-oriented. As well as possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Spanish and/or French language skills will be advantageous
