A well-established and international firm is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team. Established over 100 years ago, they have built a credible client base, working worldwide and are highly recognised within their field.

The Role
- Maintain accurate financial records on behalf of 3 companies
- Daily accounting responsibility
- General Ledger maintenance using SAGE 200
- Preparation and processing of weekly payment runs
- Produce weekly/monthly Management Reports:
- Sales Summary
- Debtors/ Creditors Ledger analysis
- Cash & bank position
- Sales Reports
- Financial Result
- Balance Sheet analysis
- Variance analysis
- Royalty Return preparation and distribution
- Taxation schedules
- Assist in preparation of the annual Budget and ad hoc Forecasts
- Responsible for online VAT submissions (Making Tax Digital) and compliance
- Responsible for online Intrastat and EC Sales submission
- Preparation of banking reconciliations
- Monitoring of receipts and liaison with Credit Control & Customer Service
- Processing arrangements including current and deposit accounts
- Responsible for SAGE 200 system maintenance and updates
- Excellent knowledge of Excel is a specific requirement and extensive knowledge of Access would also be useful
