Purpose:
To lead and direct the development of the Market Information Strategy that enables business growth, provides enhancements in information products & services offerings, support the development of other the business's strategic initiatives within the companies standards and approved policies, and the Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) regulations.

Key Accountabilities and Activities:
Strategy and Planning:
Develop the Division’s strategy in line with the Exchange’s strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal incorporation with other interfacing divisional strategies across the enterprise
Create appropriate strategies and solutions to ensure a diversified range of market information products and services that result in securing a competitive edge
Elaborate on business development plans, design strategies, and implement processes to support business growth, through customer and market definition
Hold ownership of the company’s overall revenue of Market information and indices
Set the process of targets and goals, and validate the Division’s KPI’s
Support the Exchange’s business goals by ensuring adherence to the OPEX and CAPEX that are allocated in the budget for the Division
Develop and supervise key businesses and financial risk management and mitigation tactics within the Division
Lead and direct management change through continuous improvement of departmental systems, processes, and practices, taking into account international practice, standards, and changes in the business environment that demand proactive action plans
Lead, in partnership with the CEO, the development and presentation of Market Information Business Line.

Market Information Development:
Lead the development of client relationships to better serve the business development cycle, enhance and simplify the Department’s daily work
Design Market Information business and marketing plans to achieve revenue goals
Lead the Licensing of Market Information products & services to Local & International Data Vendors, Index Providers, Brokers, Asset Managers, and other Information Providers & ensure compliance with Exchange’s Policies.
Participate in related industry’s forums, client discussions, and conferences as a representative of the Exchange
Create new business opportunities through consultation with internal and external stakeholders and benchmarking with global exchanges

Products and Services Development:
Direct the development of products and service offerings to the needs of the prospective clients.
Design strategies to retain the clients and incorporate their input into the growth plan
Develop business proposals for new and existing customers
Maintain a knowledge repository of clients, referrals, RFPs, prospects and presentations
Develop strong customer relationships in order to generate high volume of prospective clients
Coordinate with product management team and facilitate perform product testing
Administer all user centric designs and ensure compliance to key deliverables
Manage projects for product life cycle development
Promote existing and future Market Information products and services
Stakeholders’ Relationship:
Ensure that the concerned Departments are clearly informed about all different dimensions of the Trading products/services
Provide direction and support to concerned Departments to ensure smooth daily operations
Build and maintain relationships with key Stakeholders
Project Management:
Define the scope of projects and create a detailed work plan that identifies the activities needed to successfully complete projects
Determine the resources required to complete projects
Manage and control departmental projects to ensure project cycle completion and commitment to the Exchange’s guidelines and quality

Budget:
Participate in the Division’s annual budget planning
Ensure effective utilization of the Department’s allocated budget, and report accurately on progress and challenges

Governance and Resilience:
Ensure that risk assessment procedures are carried out with all Trading products/services to identify and mitigate any potential risk
Direct the development and implementation of the Department’s policies, procedures, and processes covering all areas of the Department’s activities to ensure the fulfillment of all work requirements
Ensure that the Department adheres to the Exchange’s policies in order to achieve the Exchange’s operational excellence
Ensure the Department’s compliance with The Exchange’s “Code of Conduct” to ensure operating within the acceptable risk range


People Management:
Participate in identifying and recruiting key talents for the Department
Manage, guide, and assist employees by direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures
Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate team(s), and offer regular feedback on performance
Provide clear top-down communication to employees and down-top feedback to the Executive Team
Provide development opportunities to maximize employee potential and engagement
Promote a high-performance working environment and uphold the Exchange's values
Requirements Qualifications/Requirements:
Knowledge and Experience:
14 to 16 years of experience in Capital Markets, Financial Services Sales and Marketing of financial products and market information with at least 10 years of experience in a senior or executive position
Business Operations Experience
Organization Development Experience
Extensive knowledge in Developing and Implementing Strategies
Advanced knowledge in Business Partnerships

Education and Certifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting is required
A Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) or equivalent is preferred
