Conference Food Service Assistant

A fantastic temporary opportunity has arisen for a Conference Food Service Assistant to work at a unique standalone Conference & Events Venue in Central London. As the Conference Food Service Assistant you will join a welcoming, friendly team working for an award winning, ethical and sustainable company.

 As the Conference Food Service Assistant you will be responsible for;

• To prepare, set up and serve catering requirements for the meeting rooms, offering catering support to external and internal clients that provides a welcoming environment and exceeds customer expectations
• Deal directly with customers, involving contact with conference organisers on the day of the event assisting with catering enquiries from conference attendees and other building users
• Assist with the preparation of food
• Comply with company and statutory regulations relating to Health and Safety
• Refill stock items and ensure that the staff room kitchen area is replenished daily and that all items placed are recorded

 
This role will suit an energetic candidate as a lot of time will be spent standing and moving around the building. You will be a detailed orientated individual with excellent client facing and communication skills. Ideally you will have worked in food service and or have a food hygiene qualification.
