PA to HR Director of Leading UK Charity

Do you have recent proven experience of providing secretarial and project administration support at a senior level?  

If so, one of the UK’s best-known organisations, is looking for a highly organised, motivated and meticulous person to provide high level PA, secretarial and project support to the Human Resources Director as well as supporting the senior managers within the Human Resources Department.

The Human Resources department is currently at an exciting place working on its People strategy and an extensive change programme to ensure we support the organisation in a person centred way. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, friendly, self-driven and positive individual to support the department.

About the role:
  • Manage the diary, including booking appointments and arranging meetings
  • Be the first point of enquiry for the office
  • Arrange, attend and minute meetings to an exemplary standard
  • Ensure your manager is fully prepared for all meetings
  • Process confidential correspondence either as directed or on own initiative
  • Deal with incoming correspondence and emails, responding on behalf of the manager as required.
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
  • Proven experience of secretarial experience at a senior level and recent project administration experience
  • The ability to take minutes to a high standard
  • Good business knowledge and experience of working in a busy office, including managing schedules and organising meetings
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to think and act quickly and rationally
  • Computer literacy including working knowledge of Word, Powerpoint and Excel. 
Additional information: 

Salary: 
£28,726 plus £2,500 London weighting allowance per annum 
  • Working Hours: 35 hours per week - 8.15am to 4.00pm 
  • Details: Permanent position (Monday to Friday)
