A fantastic opportunity for a Housekeeper near Newbury, Berkshire. Housekeeping for a lovely, young family within a great team!
This is a very large 14-bedroom property with a gym and a swimming pool, located on an estate with several cottages within the grounds. You will work under a Head Housekeeper and alongside another housekeeper who works Wednesday to Sunday. There is also a House Manager and a Chef. As well as daily housekeeping, you will also take care of washing and laundry and help out with other ad hoc duties for example; polishing silver, greeting guests and serving at dinner parties. This is a more informal household with the family mainly in residence and guests visiting on weekends, making it the busiest time.
The right candidate will have experience working within a private household, and possess a dedicated, hands on approach.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm.
Preferably live-out, but can be live-in and separate accommodation provided.
Excellent references and DBS check is essential.
