An economic analyst company is looking for an experienced Office Manager to join their growing team. The role is based in bright airy and spacious offices in Central London with a friendly team of about 30.

The Office Manager / Team Assistant will have a varied role – really getting involved with all aspects of the business. They will be in charge of booking travel and accommodation for the team when they travel to Europe and the Middle East, supporting HR by maintaining records for annual leave, sick days and late starts. They will also update the website with press releases, help to field media enquiries and support with the social media channels. They will need to proofread proposals and also keep checklists to ensure that all associated document are sent together. The Office Manager will need to manage procurement and the general operations of the office. They will also be supervising a part-time Office Assistant.

This Office Manager / Team Assistant role is a great opportunity to be part of a fun and friendly team. There is the opportunity to really make the role your own. The hours are 9-6pm (although flexible), and there will be 24 days’ holiday as well as the time between Christmas and New Year and bank holidays. They also offer an extensive health insurance, a bonus of up to 10%, and a trip abroad at Christmas. The salary is up to £35k dependant on experience.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and pro-active – identifying things that could make the office more efficient. They will have good Microsoft office skills. Although not essential, any European languages would be a bonus, as would some previous exposure to public sectors.
