My client, based in the city of London are looking for a well presented, well spoken and hard working receptionist to work on their busy front of house reception desk. The successful candidate will have previous experience working on a busy desk meeting and greeting visitors as well as the following:

- Setting up meeting rooms

- Ordering taxis and booking restaurants

- Distributing in and out going post

- Taking and transferring calls

- Dealing with couriers

- Ensuring the reception desk is tidy at all times

- Setting up meeting rooms with refreshments

THE PERSON:
  • Attitude – a positive attitude, ‘can do’ approach, willingness to learn and extend the role above and beyond the job description, approachability, flexibility as to hours and the role, a practical/common sense approach.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and DM systems.
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Proven ability to work as a team player.
  • Ability to stay calm in often demanding situations and work well under pressure.
