THE COMPANY:
Our client is a savings bank based in the heart of the City. They are currently recruiting for a Senior Customer Service Officer to support the Customer Service Manager in the day-to-day management of the Customer Services team.


THE ROLE:
  • Support the Customer Services Manager in day-to-day management of the Customer Services team
  • Providing support to the Customer Services Officers in dealing with any customer queries
  • Open accounts and process instructions for customers
  • Assisting in maintaining and improving service standards, ensuring adherence to the Bank’s Compliance policies
  • Field and resolve telephone, written and online queries from customers
  • Process payments received from customers
  • Making payments to customers
  • Assisting in dealing with and resolving any customer complaints as and when required
 
THE PERSON:
  • Previous extensive experience in a customer services role in banking or financial services, ideally in a smaller firm
  • Experience of coaching other colleagues
  • Knowledge of savings products
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work on own initiative and prioritise own workload
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to establish and maintain professional working relationships
  • Ability to stay calm and collected under pressure
