HR Manager (20 - 24 hours a week flexible!)

We are looking for an HR manager for a leading design agency in West London. This role will be 20 - 24 hours per week with a salary of 30 - 35k  (not pro-rata) dependent on experience.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Management of the administration of the employee lifecycle: management of the hiring process, probationary periods, reference verification, variation letters, and management of the leaving process

• Working closely with the Finance Department on payroll matters, including absence, pay and holiday accounting, and annual and periodic audit requests
• Management of staff benefits
• Management of HR system (Iris HR)
• Management of visa applications
•  Working closely with recruitment agencies on behalf of the partners, and maintaining an updated salary benchmarking guide
• Ensuring all policies are up-to-date, including undertaking a policy review with our external partner to update and relaunch our HR policies
• Supporting the leadership team with HR related matters, including any flexible working, parental, performance, grievance or disciplinary matters. The successful candidate will have the benefit of working with an external partner where required

Candidate specification:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the majority of the following:

•  5-7 years' experience as a HR Manager (or equivalent)
• Strong organisational and time management skills and experience of managing and prioritising workload
• An understanding and knowledge of UK employment law
• Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Experience in management conflicting demands and an ability to prioritise
  accordingly
