A prestigious London Law Firm is looking to hire a new Executive Assistant to support the Head of Family on a permanent basis to provide client and business focused executive secretarial and administrative support.  Responsibilities will include to take full ownership of diaries, proactively managing all appointments, meetings and related logistics, working with Partners to ensure that their schedules run smoothly and that they are where they need to be, at the scheduled meeting time, and that they are prepared for each meeting, managing Partner inboxes, responding to email on their behalf, drafting emails appropriately, forwarding any client critical emails to other Fee-Earners and Secretaries in the team to action and respond, demonstrate commercial and financial management understanding, by handling complex compliance and billing matters, taking full ownership of tasks and manage workload against deadlines and business needs, working effectively and collaboratively with central support departments to efficiently deliver to deadlines, coordinating the billing process on behalf of the Partners, proactively organising WIP and other financial management meetings.  Other duties include attending meetings and taking minutes when required,  liaising with the Marketing & Business Development team and key contacts by coordinating BD activities including events, seminars and conferences, and arranging travel requirements where necessary. Candidates need to have previous legal EA/PA experience of working for a Senior Partner or Head of Department, excellent communication, organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail skills in addition to having advanced Microsoft Office skills, previous Family experience would be beneficial but not essential.  Standard hours are 9.3am – 5.30pm and a salary on offer is up to £42,000 plus great benefits.  This role will be remote working for the foreseeable.
