One of the leading law firms in world is looking for a Human Resources Assistant/Administrator to join their friendly and high-achieving HR team who are committed to delivering consistent, high-quality client service to the firm’s offices in London and throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia.  In this role you will work closely as part of a team of seven and interact with business services professionals and lawyers throughout the firm.  In this role you will provide administrative support to the HR team to ensure smooth operations, including phone support, scheduling, HRIS transactions, document preparation and maintenance of personnel records and other key data. You will be a first point of contact for employee questions, responding to or escalating enquiries as appropriate. This role also prepares and reviews HR information including headcount review, recruitment and staffing activity and performance evaluation processes, and participates in the ongoing review of team processes and practices to ensure efficiency, consistency and continuous improvement. Duties will include recruitment, employee relations, policies and procedures, HRIS, benefits and payroll, document management and training and projects.  Applicants will need high levels of honesty, integrity, confidentiality and discretion, excellent oral and written communication skills and strong time, information and project management skills in addition to excellent attention to detail.  Applicants need to have an interest in a career in HR, be degree educated with previous HR experience where you have an understanding of what Best Practice should be, any HR professional qualifications would be a bonus however not essential – the attitude of no job too big or too small will be key.  Standard hours 9:30am top 5:30pm.  Should you not have any previous work experience, applicants will need to have undertaken work experience or vacation days within a law firm and be able to demonstrate a clear passion for HR (be it education / HR work placements etc.).
