Our fantastic international law firm client is currently looking for a Marketing & Business development Manager to join their innovative Marketing & business Development team on a permanent basis, this role is integral in helping to drive forward our Litigation, Arbitration and Employment Practice Group strategy in London and globally. The main responsibilities for this role are supporting the global practice leads on the formulation and execution of time bound, objective-driven integrated campaigns and business development plans, working with partners to develop and implement BD activities, proposed plans and budgets, managing pitches and helping the pitch team (where appropriate) to prepare for presentations, including writing domestic and cross-border pitches, proposals and credentials whilst ensuring the best practice pitch approach is applied, writing and producing other bespoke materials, including client presentations, collating and maintaining information on the firm wide Opportunity Tracker; monitor success rates and make recommendations for improvements, undertaking and maintaining post pitch feedback, coordinating and promoting best practice integrated BD strategies including media relations, events, seminars, newsletters, white papers/thought leadership, working with the Events team to coordinate and oversee client events/seminars, drafting, reviewing and updating practice area submissions for directories, legal supplements, etc. writing, editing and producing marketing communications including e.g. credentials statements, presentations, brochures, newsflashes, newsletters and web copy, liaising and collaborating with other BD teams including Practice Groups, Industry teams, and PR to cross sell capabilities and credentials, including proactively coordinating with PR to raise the profile of individual partners and propositions. Candidates must have 1 – 2 years of Marketing & Business Development management experience within a professional services environment.
