One of the leading global US law firms is looking to hire a new HR Business Partner to work closely with key stakeholders to ensure a seamless HR Service where you will be providing advice and guidance on all HR Generalist issues including high-level employee relations involvement and policies and procedures plus you will be taking responsibility for HR operational priorities and workload where you will work closely with department heads and other business services managers.  This role is looking for a qualified and hardworking HR professional who fully understands best practice and how best to deliver and achieve the best HR results, plus with this role being a decision maker applicants must have previous strong ER experience and have the gravitas to secure ‘buy-in’ and ‘strong relationships’ with the firm’s key stakeholders.  Duties will include maintaining and developing relationships with key departments in the firm; locally and globally, providing HR advice and guidance to stakeholders on a range of HR matters including employee relations and performance management, providing advice and guidance to stakeholders (attorneys and staff) on firm policies, procedure and best practice and ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures and local / global laws and regulations as required, supporting HR Senior Leadership team with the implementation of strategic HR initiatives, providing supervision and guidance to HR Services team to ensure operational priorities of the department are achieved, resolving complex operational and employee lifecycle matters, escalated by the HR Services Team as appropriate, creating, reviewing and updating policies in line with legislative changes and market trends, coordinating annual Non-Exempt review process within global and local timeframes. Working with stakeholders and the Global Compensation team to ensure accurate benchmarking and a fair and equitable review process and leading on HR operational projects including designing project plans, assigning resources, ensuring effective implementation and measuring success.  Applicants need to be CIPD qualified and preferably degree educated with at least 5+ years HR experience, from either a law firm, bank or a professional services environment with a well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm with credible employment law knowledge. This firm is housed in the City with standard hours 9:30am to 5:30pm.
