A prestigious international Law Firm is looking to hire a new Graduate Recruitment Adviser to join their London office, to join the Graduate Recruitment and Trainee Development Teams.  This will include a focus on the assessment and recruitment of trainee solicitors and vacation scheme students. Responsibilities will include assisting manager with overseeing screening of applications for training contracts, vacation schemes, open days and campus ambassadors, assisting manager with the relationship with external screening providers ensuring targets are met, assisting with key diversity initiatives with Rare Recruitment including Foundations, Articles and Discuss programmes, supporting the Manager by facilitating assessment days, briefing candidates and interviewers and assisting with, and running 'wash-up' meetings with partners in order to agree interview decisions, conducting situational judgement interviews and assessing group exercises, invigilating and marking critical thinking tests (Watson Glaser) and acting as a link with the test providers for candidates requiring adjustments, providing constructive and developmental feedback to candidates after assessment days via telephone.  Also overseeing and advising administrator who assists in some instances, organising and supporting the Manager in delivering successful vacation schemes (winter and summer schemes).  Acting as key point of contact for participants, partners and lawyer supervisors as well as trainee 'buddies', overseeing the process for sourcing appropriate vacation scheme 'seats' within the working groups, overseeing the on-boarding process for vacation scheme in collaboration with colleagues in the Global Business Services Centre in Johannesburg, attending vacation scheme evening events, overseeing the gathering of feedback from vacation scheme supervisors and ensuring it is collated and circulated accurately to interviewing partners and the recruitment partners and Associate Director, Legal Resourcing, organising post-offer lunches and events for training contract offers, assisting with and helping to run assessment days for Birmingham graduate recruitment campaign, assisting with running 'keep warm/sell team' campaigns after training contract offers made, assisting with the recruitment of the campus ambassador programme, assisting line manager with gathering and presenting recruitment statistics, assisting with university visits, assisting and managing projects, assisting with supervision and management of work load for Graduate Recruitment Administrator, assisting with remotely managing two administrators in the Global Business Services Centre in Johannesburg. Successful candidates should have previous graduate recruitment experience whether in a law firm or professional services environment.
