Our fantastic US law firm client is currently looking for a Catering and Conferences Coordinator to join their catering department, this is a permanent role within the London Office. Duties will include assisting the Catering and Conference Services Supervisor in the smooth running of the Catering department, deputising in Supervisors absence, monitoring vending and drinks machines, ensuring they are fully stocked and in working order at all times, provision of professional hospitality services including meeting room beverages and food service, working lunches, special functions and Café services, ensuring the kitchen, café, drinks stations and equipment used in these areas are clean and tidy, ensuring the kitchen and storage areas are secured at the appropriate times, ensuring the Food Hygiene and Health and Safety at Work Act as defined by the Country Council is observed within the kitchen and cafe and report any accidents in the kitchen or complaints regarding staff welfare, reporting faults in equipment and request necessary day to day maintenance of work areas and premise, assist clients, visitors and personnel with any special dietary requests they may have, ensuring that no food is removed from the premises, be prepared to give practical help in any part of the kitchen should the need arise. Candidates must have flexibility to cover additional catering hours, be proficient in Microsoft Office and also have previous experience working with room scheduling software, the hours for this role work on a rota basis and the shifts will be as follows 7am – 4pm, 8am – 5pm and 9am – 6pm.
