Executive Assistant to COO

Knight Frank is the leading independent property consultancy in the UK offering agency and professional advice across Commercial, Residential and Rural sectors. Established in 1896, Knight Frank now comprises a global network of over 400 offices. Based in our Global HQ on Baker Street the Executive Assistant will be work within the Group Operations department, providing EA support to the Chief Operating Officer.

Confidentiality is crucial to this role which will include both business and personal work.

 

Executive Assistant - Job Description

  • Within this role you will act as first point of contact for the COO with clients, partners, and team.
  • Representing them using discretion and confidentiality at all times and being positively perceived as their representative.
  • You will work exceptionally closely with the COO so as to be in a position to anticipate their needs and be able to help prioritise requests for time and attention from all areas of the business.
  • As part of the role you will be involved in project work/research as requested by the COO, in particular taking responsibility for maintaining momentum on projects being delivered directly for the COO.
  • You will deliver senior EA support to the COO including proactive diary management, managing email, organising (and minuting) meetings, document production and travel arrangements.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in a similar EA role and will possess the necessary skills and experience to provide and manage an effective support service to the COO by anticipating their needs through lateral thinking and problem solving.
  • This role would suit a strong communicator capable of successfully influencing others at all levels of the business, with a professional and helpful manner.
  • You will be flexible, organised, pro-active and hands-on as well as being a self-motivated, well-presented individual with a proven background in project management, organisation and administration.
  • Proficient word processing skills (with database experience), good typing and administration skills, the ability to multi-task as essential within this role.
