Financial institution in the heart of Canary Wharf is looking for 3 Department Administrators with a strong financial working background to join the business on a permanent basis. You will be primarily based within the Authorisation department and be authorised to one of the 3 departments listed below:

  • Approved Persons, Passporting & Mutual Dept.
  • Retail Dept.
  • Wholesale Dept.

Duties Include:

  • Support Head of Departments PA with instructed administration
  • Diary management to Senior Managers
  • Arranging meetings and events both internally and externally
  • Arranging travel
  • Taking actions and minutes.
  • Ad hoc administrative duties e.g. scanning, printing and preparing documents
  • Managing an active email system delivering information via departments
  • Updating the intranet
  • Receiving incoming calls
  • On-boarding/off-boarding 
     

Essential & Desirable Skills:

  • Excellent organisational skills, good eye for detail and proven administrative
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to deal with highly confidential and staff-sensitive information
  • Proactive and driven to deliver tasks to a high standard.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to interact with people at all levels
  • Effective time management and ability to juggle competing priorities.
  • Team player, able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the department.
  • Commitment to improve processes and share good practice.
