A super dynamic and successful Media company is looking to hire a proactive and diligent Commercial/Team Assistant to join a team of 5. 

The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail and will support the Commercial team in all aspects of project financing, fund administration and general ad-hoc commercial work. This role will interact with many areas of the business, coordinating particularly with the Legal and Finance teams. The superstar candidate will take ownership and will get their hands stuck in navigating projects.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Tracking performance of projects and managing the large portfolio of closed deals, including monitoring costs and revenues, foreign currency deals, sales, recoupment, and the relationship with the deal partners 
  • Helping project managers and associates run new projects whilst building relationships with counterparties, both domestically and internationally
  • Supporting project managers and associates across all areas of a transaction, from commercial negotiations to legal and financial closing tasks and ongoing project monitoring
  • Contributing to the assessment, evaluation of potential projects, including financial modelling of new opportunities
  • Maintaining processes such as internal sign off for projects, the tracking of incoming projects and the status of ongoing ones as well as any other internal tracking tools
  • General assistance on ad-hoc projects, project and fund administration

Key requirements: 

  • Excellent academics from university 
  • Solid grasp of Microsoft Excel 
  • Strong work ethic and conscientious attitude with an ability to take ownership of tasks
  • Some previous office experience
  • Good attention to detail, strong organisation stills, be highly literate and numerate, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Some knowledge of the film and TV industry, from producers, agents, distributors and broadcasters, and established relationships with parties, would be useful
