Our client, a super successful creative production company are looking for an outstanding and experienced Studio / Office Manager to join the dynamic team. Handling major productions globally and boasting an impressive roster of clients, we are looking for someone with experience in multi-tasking in a production environment and be used to working at pace in a wide-ranging office management role.

Joining a high performing and driven team, the successful Office Manager will need to be equally ambitious, meticulous and committed. 

You will be dealing with various people and different personalities, therefore the ability to liaise and communicate well is very important. You must also be capable of pushing back when required and know how to prioritise various demands.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Office Management: the general day to day running of the office, from opening the office in the mornings and preparing it for staff arrival to overseeing any necessary maintenance; ensuring a clean, tidy and welcoming working environment at all times.
  • Being the first of call - answering the phone for all enquiries – the voice of the company.
  • Handling all deliveries and distributing post
  • Ensuring all production staff are up to date with first aid courses and health and safety standards are frequently serviced.
  • Handling intern enquiries and managing the internship rota, including training and overseeing the workload of the current intern
  • Liaising with IT, communications and utility suppliers to resolve any issues promptly
  • Arranging and booking team dinners 
  • Ad hoc HR support such as managing holiday requests, absence records etc.  
  • Keeping an eye on sustainability and social policy, ensuring the best and most efficient way possible and researching and implementing new energy and resource saving methods.
  • Processing expenses and liaising closely with accounts team re. receipts and invoices
  • Supporting the production teams with planning travel, researching accommodation, creative research particularly on locations
  • Ad hoc personal support for Director 

What we are looking for:

  • Office management experience in a production company 
  • Proven experience in multi-taking and able to manage multiple priorities at any one time and communicating workload and timelines
  • Confident with IT and is tech savvy. Experience with Adobe InDesign is advantageous
  • A great team player with a positive attitude and a sense of humour
  • In addition to having superb organisational skills and being able to multi-task efficiently in a super busy role, we are looking for an individual with the best 'can-do' attitude!
