An amazing, global and multi-faceted company are looking for a confident, experienced and Mandarin speaking HR Director. The Director will work closely with all senior management to help develop a team and establish the culture in their new London headquarters.

Although multi-faceted, this client focuses on the IT, Tech and Gaming industries. Therefore, the right candidate will not only be well educated and a bounty of HR knowledge, but also someone who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing HR initiatives in line with organisational objectives
  • Leading the organisation’s HR departments, including talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, talent management and financial planning of the department
  • Liaising directly with the senior management team and being accountable for the performance of the HR function and the departments within it, as well as providing strategic counsel on all people matters
  • Contributing to long-term goals around business and people development, including succession planning and c-suite talent acquisition
  • Developing company wellbeing, health and counselling policies
  • Leading the analysis of employee feedback and data, with the aim of creating a better working environment and engaged culture
  • Creating and managing the HR department’s annual budget
  • Taking oversight of the company’s culture
  • Global responsibility for the organisation’s talent functions and culture

What we are looking for:

  • Fluent in Mandarin 
  • 5+ years HR Experience within an international organisation
  • Proven robust employment relations skills
  • Proven experience of undertaking a similar role within a rapid growing or entrepreneurial business
  • Ability to liaise with a range of internal and external clients and colleagues at both senior and C-suite level
  • Experience implementing and developing company culture
  • Experience of coaching managers and business leaders
  • Strong presentation skills
