A busy Office Manager opportunity has arisen within a friendly financial services practice based in Central London!

Our client is a growing and ambitious company that really value and understand the importance of having the support of a first-class Office Manager. The Office Manager role is a crucial part of this team, so we are looking for someone who has excellent organisational skills and is capable of making the company super efficient!

Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount within this Office Manager role, and previous experience with payroll/bookkeeping is highly advantageous. The position will suit someone who loves being the lynchpin of an office and thrives within a small team. We are looking for smart, driven and approachable individuals who can bring a wealth of experience in order to deliver an exceptional Office Manager service!

Responsibilities: 

  • Office and facilities management 
  • EA responsibilities to the founding partner 
  • HR management 
  • Office accounting (invoices, payroll, expense claims)
  • Travel and diary management for the co-founder 
  • Travel support for the rest of the team 
  • Work with Compliance consultant to ensure files are in order
  • Holiday cover for other two Office Managers 
  • Answering phones, greeting clients and keeping the office presentable 
  • The first point of contact for IT issues 

What we are looking for: 

  • Ideally, 5 years experience in a similar role within the financial sector 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite 
  • Prior experience in bookkeeping and be able to liaise with external accountants 
  • Comfortable working with numbers and Excel spreadsheets 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • A team player who is flexible and adaptive and  works well in a high-pressure environment 
  • Self-motivated and independent worker
