One of London's leading educational institutions is looking for an Office Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of Student Administration and will undertake day to day student support, this will include efficient administration of all undergraduate processes and record maintenance. You will have the ability to perform effectively under pressure with good organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering effective management and execution of student administration tasks within the Department of Materials
  • Assisting the Student Office with records keeping including the production and dissemination of mark sheets
  • Responsibility for archiving of student records
  • Assisting in the organisation of student activities on the Department's undergraduate courses, including the allocation and tracking of coursework and the management of optional course choices
  • Inputting coursework marks and monitoring and tracking of coursework submissions
  • Obtaining and updating the department's undergraduate databases
  • Liaising with other college departments including the College Registry, Accommodations Office, International Office, Examination Office, Disability Office and International Office
  • Assisting with booking rooms in the department

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Excel at a higher level including in-cell formulas
  • Proven experience of working in an office environment
  • Proven experience of electronic data management including Blackboard, Celcat and Oracle
  • Knowledge of higher education admission procedures and policies
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure with good personal organisation and time management skills and the ability to manage and respond to shifting priorities
  • Excellent organisational skills in time management
  • Methodical and accurate data recording with excellent data entering and management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with students and staff at all levels
