A professional services firm specialising in employment solutions is looking for a Resource Team Leader to join their team on a 6 - 12 month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be leading a team of Resource Consultants and Administrators. You will be driven and ambitious with a passion for relationship building.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all projects allocated to the team are resourced within the required timescales
  • Creating team resourcing plans in partnership with the Resource Manager
  • Setting daily plans for own team including assigning specific projects and tasks
  • Leading and motivating the team to drive productivity while maintaining candidate quality
  • Providing ongoing support and advice to the team
  • Identifying team and individual development needs and making appropriate suggestions for additional training, either internal or external
  • Identifying resourcing challenges as early as possible and escalating challenges to Resource Manager
  • Conducting performance management review meetings and completing the relevant paperwork
  • Coordinating the online advertising of all team requirements, utilising available job boards
  • Reviewing formatted CV's prior to submission to client or Resource Manager
  • Providing ongoing coaching and conducting interviews when required
  • Ensuring the team follow best practice processes for updating relevant internal systems
  • Identifying additional avenues to recruit associates, potential regional assessment opportunities and discussing ideas on how to attract and retain associates with the Resource Manager
  • Handling calls which require escalation including complaints and challenging conversations
  • Attending regular management meetings to discuss team activity

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a recruitment or resourcing role
  • Previous experience of supervising or managing a team
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ambitious with a willingness to work hard to achieve individual and team targets
