A professional services firm specialising in employment solutions is looking for a Compliance Analyst to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will be ensuring that background screening is carried out on all contractors that start assignments on client sites. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that specified background screening checks are carried out on all allocated candidates
  • Requesting all references and following up with outstanding vetting information from candidate's companies as required to ensure the candidates file is completed in the fastest possible time
  • Ensuring candidates submit criminal check applications in good time and monitor progress of checks
  • Carrying out passport checks, credit reference checks and sanctions checks
  • Ensuring valid documentation is held for all candidates
  • Obtaining proof of address documentation
  • Obtaining all internal and client specific confidentiality and declaration forms
  • Collating and obtaining evidence regarding any adverse declarations from candidates prior to drafting a referral for client approval
  • Managing incomplete vetting and collating evidence to cover any missing references prior to drafting a referral for client approval
  • Obtaining candidates contractual documentation prior to issuing contracts to all candidates
  • Updating candidate information on the CRM
  • Issuing joining instructions, sending timesheet instructions and sending any required new joiner packs and directions
  • Answering incoming calls and dealing with calls professionally and efficiently, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Ensuring messages are passed on where required, all calls are returned in a timely manner and demonstrating effective use of diary system to ensure unsuccessful calls are followed up
  • Assisting with ad-hoc duties as required to support the team and manager
  • Demonstrating positive attitude and behaviours at all times, offering assistance to your colleagues where time allows and work as part of the team at all times

  • Positive attitude with the willingness to provide the highest level of internal and external client service and able to work as a team player
  • Ability to prioritise workload, whilst remaining calm and composed
  • Ability to establish rapport with clients, senior stakeholders and staff at all levels
  • Confident, professional manner with a can do and positive attitude
  • Demonstrate a willingness to own/solve problems as they arise, but also can identify issues for referral
