A high-end interior furnishings company is looking for a Team Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. We need someone with an eye for detail, is an excellent listener and has the memory of an elephant. You must be efficient, diligent and take pride in the accuracy of your work. You must also be malleable and able to take direction, but also be able to work effectively and proactively.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the database maintenance including contact, project encompassing confidential information
  • Assisting with the calculating price for contracts, advising on products to fit a budget and issuing contract prices
  • Helping to offer product knowledge support when a complex brief is presented in order to help develop specifications
  • Picking and packing samples, documenting sample distribution and assisting in fielding sample requests from clients
  • Assisting with managing of sample stock, leading merchandising projects, and conducting stock checks with suppliers for project lead times and orders
  • Assisting with social media
  • Updating of marketing materials, existing resources and technical literature under the instruction
  • Assisting with any administration needed to assist the team as and when required

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to adapt to the needs and communication styles of a range of different clients and suppliers
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently, independently and collaboratively
  • Confident, friendly and professional manner with client and suppliers over phone and email
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
  • A minimum of 1-year administration experience
