A new modern banking service that offers mobile-first banking services has an exciting opportunity for an Office Manager/HR Assistant. As the business grows we are looking for someone to grow with us. We are looking for an experienced HR Assistant and Office Manager to join the hustle and bustle of an extremely busy and at times demanding office. Our ideal person will greet every challenge with enthusiasm, be the calm amongst the storm and champion people operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Championing a solid team unity through team events, birthdays, lunches and guest speakers
  • Being the first port of call with our suppliers and service providers
  • Keeping our house in order by keeping our plants well-watered, keeping our stationery cupboard topped up and keeping our employees safe and sound
  • Being the go-to-person for vendors in regard to building facilities, property management, catering services and cleaning
  • Helping look after our awesome team
  • Assisting with any ad-hoc support and always welcoming with a "can do" attitude
  • Welcoming all new starters with open arms
  • Issuing and collecting employment contracts, P45's and employee references
  • On-boarding and off-boarding employees
  • Assisting with monthly Payroll and bonus payments
  • Overseeing the set-up of IT equipment for the newbies
  • Driving the HR projects across the team in partnership with the Head of People

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Administrator or HR Assistant from a fast-paced company
  • Previously working for a start-up company preferred
  • A genuine people person
