A global financial services company is looking for a Reception Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis. As the Reception Supervisor you will supervise and engage your team to provide the highest level of client care and personal service to all stakeholder in your Clients business which includes visitors, clients and internal stakeholders.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Motivating, supervising and developing individuals within the team to enable them to meet current and future team and client needs
  • Identifying innovative and efficient ways in which to deliver world class service
  • Reviewing the client service model on an on-going basis and making recommendations to ensure continued service excellence in client's business
  • Taking appropriate action to address client service issues to the satisfaction of the client
  • Coaching the Receptionists to develop their ability and strengths and provide feedback on performance
  • Supporting the Deputy Manager to establish performance and development goals for the Receptionists and communicate them to the team
  • Guiding and supporting new starters through the Induction Plans to ensure compliancy with contract and company information
  • Developing succession plans to support the longer-term growth of the business as well as individual development needs
  • Recognising and rewarding contribution and achievement of individuals in the team
  • Ensuring that all reception and switchboard statistics are collated and passed to Reception Administrator for reporting
  • Collating and signing off agency workers time sheets so that Reception Administrator can process payroll and time sheets to ensure the team are paid accurately and in accordance with company procedure
  • Managing absence and return to work in accordance with company policies
  • Communicating and monitoring objectives and KPI targets to set benchmark for success to encourage growth and continuous improvement
  • Providing detailed and insightful reports on team and client service activity to Client and Client Service Directors
  • Participating actively in all appropriate company-wide meetings and events
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation to include health & safety and employment legislation at the very least
  • Maintaining and updating accurate and timely information and administration systems to ensure the success and profitability of the contract

Person Specifications

  • Able to communicate clearly and confidently face to face and over the telephone
  • Able to engage with other people to create empathy and rapport
  • Accuracy and good attention to detail
  • Immaculate personal presentation
  • A proven track record of successfully supervising
  • Experience of supervising service level agreements and key performance indicators
  • A proven track record of successfully presenting basic management information and being able to collate and report statistics for performance measurement
  • Experience with Audio Visual services is desirable
