Associate/Senior Associate, Financial PR

Do you have 1-4 years’ experience in PR with a keen interest in finance, technology, ESG or Public Affairs? 

Do you have a demonstrable interest and understanding of business and current affairs?

Are you clear-minded, ambitious and able to research, write and present pitches?

If so, we’d love to hear from you.  Our client is looking a creative thinker who can forge strong relationships at all levels.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

• Devising and implementing communications strategies and programmes
• Creating materials for communications, press releases, presentations etc
• Researching, news monitoring, press analysis and summaries
• Building strong relationships with clients, press and investment analysts
• Pitching stories and responding to incoming enquiries
• Researching for new business opportunities
• Developing content and presenting at pitches
• Establishing wider industry relationships

The skills you need to bring:

• Degree or equivalent
• 1-4 years of relevant industry experience
• Solid understanding of the City and financial community
• Excellent communication and written English skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Numerate with experience of working with financial information
• Strong relationship builder
• Independent, clear and creative thinker
• Desire to continually broaden knowledge and contact base
• Ability to take ownership and deliver to deadline
