Our client, an incredibly high profile and ultra-high net worth individual, is looking for an exceptional, qualified Bookkeeper to oversee the management of payroll, all incoming and outgoing invoices, and reconciliations.
You will be a diligent professional, with a meticulous approach to your work, and have the ability to provide the principal with all information he requires to make his day-to-day decisions by keeping him fully briefed of personal and office expenditure, with frequent financial summaries and reports.
You will have a natural way with numbers, and will understand the principal’s day to day work to the point that his expenses make complete sense to you with little training. You will be able to dissect his expenses without having to continually ask for help, and you will hit the ground running from day one.
Experience and/or an interest in family office finances and cost saving exercises would be particularly advantageous, but above all you will be energetic, pro-active, organised, and have the ability to get on with the role and make it your own.
You will be polished and team orientated, but also have the ability to work alone. You will have exceptional communication skills and be well educated, and be open to the occasional out of hours work.
Usual hours are Monday to Friday, form 9am to 5pm, but with occasional out of hours on call required. You will initially be working for home, but in time will start to work partly in the Central London office.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
- Dealing with all office/personal expenses
- Dealing with budgets and forecasts and financial reporting for the principal
- Payroll for all the household staff
- Overseeing NI and PAYE
- Pay and reconcile credit card bills
- Special ad-hoc projects
- General administrative tasks
- Meeting with the principal to analyse and summarise his spending
- Daily correspondence with team members within the family office
If this sounds of interest and you have the relevant skills and experience, please apply within or get in touch to find out more.
