The client specialise in investing in early-stage, tech-enabled businesses shaping the future of work. They operate with a small, close-knit team in a start-up-like environment. The firm's offices are located in North London.

About the Executive Assistant Role

  • Support to both Founding Partners, who have extremely busy schedules, both in a business and personal capacity. This role will be pivotal to ensure that their time is used effectively and smoothly.
  • The role is primarily business-focused with a small personal element.
  • Heavy complex diary and inbox management.
  • They are looking for someone who can gatekeep their diaries to maximize their time and tell them where they need to be and when minimizing any wasted time.
  • Wider team management.
  • Arranging travel and supporting events.
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and compiling research.
  • Handling expenses and liaising with clients and their PAs.
  • They are looking for someone proactive, trustworthy, and adaptable to their individual working styles. They want someone who can keep them organised.

Key Details

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Temp-to-perm or permanent
  • Location: Initially office-based, in Islington, with flexibility to work from home on Wednesdays and during quieter periods once trust is established.
  • Hours: Core hours are 9:00 AM-6:00 PM, with flexibility required.
  • Salary: up to £65k, depending on experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
  • Temp-to-perm preferred, though they are open to candidates with notice periods for a permanent role.

The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Has prior EA experience, ideally within Financial Services.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and can multitask effectively.
  • Is confident, proactive, and an excellent communicator (phone and email).
  • Can adapt to varying working styles and take initiative without direction.
  • Is personable, professional, and detail oriented.
  • Has experience liaising with senior stakeholders and managing client-facing responsibilities.
  • Will be happy office based.
