Our client, a prestigious Barristers’ Chambers, is seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join them in a part-time capacity as an Administrator, focusing heavily on scheduling and reporting into the Head of People.
This newly created role offers an initial six-month contract with potential to become permanent and will require approximately 2.5 days per week, with flexibility to spread the hours across at least four days.
Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinating induction schedules for new team members with multiple stakeholders.
- Arranging training sessions for barristers and staff. Scheduling committee and management board meetings.
- Coordinating visits and meetings related to the upcoming premises move.
- Liaising with busy, self-employed professionals and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and prompt responses.
What We’re Looking For:
This is not an entry-level administrative role; it requires a candidate with the following attributes and experience:
- Experience managing complex schedules and prioritising tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of liaising politely yet effectively with a variety of people.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable receiving and acting on instructions from senior and junior staff in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks, even with competing demands.
- Open to learning and taking ownership of processes to alleviate workloads for others.
Unfortunately, due to the sheer volume of applications we receive, we are not always able to respond to each applicant directly. We will certainly be in touch proactively if we feel you are suitable for this role or might be a strong candidate for other opportunities we are working on.
