Eden Recruitment is excited to present an excellent opportunity for an efficient and proactive Assistant to join a dynamic and rapidly growing commodities firm based in The City of London. With global offices and core values deeply embedded in the company's DNA, this firm is looking to hire an exceptional Team Assistant. This is a newly created permanent role due to the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diary Management: Organise and manage the schedules of 3 Heads plus wider team, ensuring efficient time allocation and handling any scheduling conflicts.
- Meeting Coordination: Arrange and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, booking meeting rooms, and managing follow-up communications.
- Travel Booking: Handle comprehensive travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and organising travel itineraries.
- Reception Cover: Provide cover for the reception area as needed, ensuring smooth operations and professional front-desk service as of when needed.
- Team Events and Socials: Assist in planning and executing team events and social activities to foster team cohesion and morale.
- Ad Hoc Administrative Duties: Perform various administrative tasks as needed to support the team and contribute to the firm’s overall efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proactive Approach: Demonstrate a high level of initiative, anticipating needs and solving problems independently.
- Strong Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and effective interactions with team members and stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Show flexibility and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks, maintaining a 'muck-in' attitude.
- Team Player: Work well within a team environment, contributing positively to the firm’s culture and objectives.
- Administrative Experience: Prior experience in an administrative or team assistant role is highly desirable, particularly in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
- This role will be 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home. The hours for this role will be 8.30am - 6pm with a package of up to £60,000-63,000 plus great benefits.
