We have an exceptional opportunity for an Executive Assistant to provide support to the dynamic CEO and Founder of an innovative and forward-thinking Yacht Brokerage. By joining their highly experienced and close-knit team during the company's initial phase, you will have the chance to contribute to its growth and development, making this an exciting opportunity to be part of something special.
This is ideal for an experienced Executive Assistant based in the UK or an ex-superyacht crew member looking for an exciting land-based, remote position. You must be organised and action-based, pay great attention to detail, be well-presented, and be confident speaking with high-profile clients while maintaining discretion.
Among other responsibilities, you will be involved in sourcing and assisting in setting up a new office in London. You will play an essential role in the company's growth by supporting the CEO with their onboarding process as they plan to expand the team to more than double its size within the next 12 months.
This is a remote position. However, the principal would ideally like the assistant to commute into central London 2-3 times per month to attend team meetings; therefore, being based in the UK is essential. The role will also include regular international travel 6+ times per year for 3-7 days at a time to attend yacht shows, company events, charity events, and networking days as a representative of the company.
The standard working hours are from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., Monday to Friday. There may be flexibility to adjust the schedule to accommodate the principal's needs, and occasional weekend work may be required. Additionally, the role may involve dedicating some weekends for travel purposes during the year. Due to the nature of the industry, there will be periods of high workload and periods of lower activity.
A competitive salary is offered, along with various benefits such as paid travel expenses, medical insurance, and pension schemes.
