Executive Assistant
Grade B3-B4
Location: Paris, France
Salary: €50,940 to €58,140 tax-free + Benefits
Contract: Three year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal.
We’re driving change across Europe. You’ll transform the way our office operates.
Are you an experienced and accomplished personal or executive administrative assistant? Do you have sound experience of drafting, translating and proofreading emails, memos, correspondence and presentations for senior officials? Then you can play a key part in supporting the Chief of Staff of a pan-European development bank with a unique social mandate.
Bringing together 43 member countries, the CEB finances and responds to emergency situations and actively enhances the living conditions of the most disadvantaged groups. Strengthening social cohesion and building thriving communities in Europe, we drive inclusive growth, bolster economic sustainability – and create exceptional careers.
Acting as the primary point of contact for diverse stakeholders, you will manage the Chief of Staff’s agenda, organise travel and accommodation, and oversee the two-way flow of crucial information. We will look to you to develop new administrative procedures and policies, resolve some complex challenges and reorganise the Executive Office filing system, so you will require considerable initiative and a wealth of fresh ideas. Equally importantly, you should be highly financially literate as you will monitor budgets, record invoices and track expenses alongside our Accounting & Controlling Division.
To join us, you should bring:
- A good level of education, preferably with formal training in office management, secretarial activities and/or foreign languages.
- Expert knowledge of administrative procedures.
- Outstanding interpersonal, relationship building and organisational skills.
- A flexible and discreet approach with day-to-day activities.
- Proven ability to prioritise responsibilities against strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in the use of standard office software, including Zoom and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Full fluency in either English or French, backed by working knowledge of the other language.
Deadline: 21 June 2024
Applications should be made in English or French using the Council of Europe Development Bank online application system
