A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced, high calibre, Private PA to support a UHNW Principal and her family with their busy private life, while also assisting with managing the family's domestic team and residential properties.

The successful candidate will be very personable, with a positive, “can do” attitude and a sense of humour.  They will be hard working, pro-active, adaptable, able to anticipate and problem solve, show meticulous attention to detail, have an innate ability to prioritise and stay calm under pressure, and be capable of working in a busy environment.  They will have excellent inter-personal and communication skills and be able to motivate others.

This is a busy and varied role with a friendly and welcoming Principal and family.  There will be the opportunity for travel and involvement in exciting projects ranging from real estate development to art acquisitions to family celebrations.  The successful candidate will be happy to work irregular hours, be “on call” when needed and travel when required. 

 Duties will include:

  • Supporting the Principal, acting as her right hand person and gatekeeper and providing a primary point of contact for other members of the staff team; assisting with personal tasks as requested; scheduling meetings and appointments; booking restaurants and theatre; helping with events and family occasions.
  • Managing the Principal’s family and staff calendars; organising constantly changing travel and logistics
  • Managing the staff team of approx 15 people over four locations, and working with the Principal to expand and develop the team as needed
  • Overseeing the day to day running of the Principal’s homes: supervising staff and liaising with the teams at the different properties to ensure that the homes run smoothly; managing utilities, overseeing maintenance and renovations, and liaising with contractors and service providers
  • Working with the Family Office to ensure that the family’s personal life is administrated effectively and efficiently, liaising with other professionals, service providers, and suppliers; managing purchases, invoices and expenses; producing inventories and other documentation as needed.

 The Candidate will be:

  • A professional with 10+ years relevant work experience, including 5+ years of Private PA experience in a UHNW environment 
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent 
  • Super organised and efficient, with meticulous attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritise 
  • An experienced manager, used to motivating and leading colleagues
  • Experienced at organising high level travel including private aviation, yacht charters, ski trips and family holidays
  • Familiar with the running of large, high level properties in the UK and abroad including ski chalets
  • Trustworthy and loyal, with an impeccable understanding of discretion and confidentiality
  • Adaptable and able to handle last minute changes with positivity and good humour

 Details:

The role is based in London with frequent travel between the Principal's properties in the UK and abroad. 

£80,000-£100,000 (DoE) + discretionary annual bonus, 20 days holiday, pension contribution

Hours: Generally 08.00-17.00, but flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and to be on call out of hours is expected.
