Grafton Banks Finance are working with a well-established commercial company with offices in Eastbourne, East Sussex to recruit an Administrative Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting into the Accounts Receivable Team lead and working in a friendly Accounts and Administration team, the main purpose of this job offering is to focus on the accurate posting of payments to customer accounts and other general administration duties.

Duties and Responsibilities will involve:

  • Assisting & supporting the regional Administrations to accurately reflect the debt position of our customers.
  • This role is integral to the Credit Control team with daily duties and will also involve working with colleagues to ensure payments are posted accurately, allocated correctly and any unidentified payments received are accurately appropriated.Ensuring all correspondence is sent out on due date.
  • Receipting & banking of cheques using the online banking portal
  • Taking card payments from customers over the phone
  • Maintaining customer accounts
  • Supporting both Regional Administrators & the AR Team Lead with monthly Credit Chase Cycle
  • Ensuring payments are recorded accurately.
  • Preparing record of departmental KPIs
  • Responding effectively to email queries from both internal & external customers.

  • Strong MS Excel skills required.
