We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, proactive and service-oriented House Manager/Butler for a private household in Mayfair, London

The House Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the general running of the Household, and the role requires experience in both Housekeeping and Food & Beverage service operations

Candidates should be comfortable providing a front-of house presence, being a team player who can lead by example, and being highly responsive to the needs and requirements of the Principal

Hands-on oversight of a small team of Housekeepers is also required, providing assistance where necessary

The main Principal is a Gentleman who likes to entertain, and so the House Manager should be comfortable with planning and running events and dinners, have an awareness of table and floral design aesthetics, and experience delivering a range of F&B service, including Butler services

Candidates should be immaculately presented and well-groomed

Working hours will be 08.30am – 6.00pm, Monday – Friday, however flexibility to work outside of these hours and weekends occasionally is required

Candidates with strong Butler and/or Superyacht Steward(ess) backgrounds are particularly welcome to apply

• Have a valid DBS check or be willing to obtain one
• Have excellent contactable references
• Have 5+ years experience working as a House Manager/Butler within a private household and/or Chief Steward(ess) for the superyacht industry
