Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a professional, customer centric, enthusiastic, and professional sales consultant to join our sales team as a Genesis Personal Assistant (GPA). You will be the 'voice of Genesis' and perform a very important role; building strong and lasting relationships with customers through communication, understanding their individual motoring needs, communicating the Genesis brand and 'Difference', convincing them and helping them to buy a Genesis by presenting our products and services including the technology, features and benefits of the Genesis range in a very persuasive way.

This is a great role for a professional that 'loves' customers, is great at building relationships through phone calls and emails, can quickly establish their personal gravitas with a customer, is passionate about cars and will take great pride in working for arguably the most exciting premium luxury car brand in the UK!

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing Genesis Customers and ensuring they fully understand the 'uniqueness of Genesis'; the 'Genesis Difference', the role of the GPA and other team members, the Genesis Customer buying the ownership journeys, the Genesis models and range of services, and convincing them to buy a Genesis
  • Persuading and convincing customers to buy a Genesis, our products and services.
  • The highly effective management of the Genesis customer experience, from 'lead' to order to handover, through the ownership to repeat purchase through timely and effective communications, both verbal and written.
  • Being a brand and product expert at all times.
  • Using and maintaining accurate records of all interactions with your customers on systems and databases
  • Maintaining regular contact with all your assigned customers; whether they are owners or prospects, to ensure they are completely satisfied with their Genesis products, services and experience, and to sell them a new car, an additional car, renewal or additional service, etc.
  • Ensuring timely and effective internal communications with all stakeholders at all times including Genesis management, Genesis Driving Consultants, Genesis Finance, colleagues, etc.
  • Attending events and test drive events as needed to sell.
  • Being and performing as a Genesis brand ambassador at all times

About You

  • Experienced sales professional with excellent communications: preferably from a premium luxury retail background. Automotive experience is desirable.
  • Dedicated with a passion for excellent customer service and drive to succeed.
  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships with customers and colleagues, especially over the phone.
  • Multi-tasker, with ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
  • Experience using CRM database systems.
  • Team orientated.
  • Commercially focused with a result driven mindset
  • Customer centric with the gravitas for a customer to have confidence in you and your ability as a GPA and brand ambassador from 1st contact.
  • Passionate about premium luxury product cars and products.
  • Confident in presenting and explaining technology, products, and services in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Proactive 'can do' attitude.
  • Clean driving licence (no more than 6 points, no summons pending)
