Role: Customer Service Administrator
Shifts: 37.5hr per week Monday - Friday: 09:00am - 17:00pm
Location: North Shields
Salary: 24,000 per annum
Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Administrator, you will:

  • Customer Engagement: Act as the first point of contact for customer queries and concerns, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Sales Order Processing: Input sales orders into Sage, send order acknowledgements, and work closely with the operations team to provide accurate information.
  • Documentation: Create despatch paperwork, book and manage transport for shipments, and obtain/manage delivery slots with customers.
  • Returns Processing: Process customer returns efficiently and maintain/update internal databases.

Qualifications and Experience:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Self-Motivation: A self-motivated approach with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work within a cross-functional team, managing and prioritising multiple tasks effectively.
  • Pressure Handling: Capability to work well under pressure and a desire to progress within the organisation.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills:

While not essential, experience in the following would be advantageous:

  • Experience in Sage 200 Software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and associated applications
