Procurement Manager 12 month Contract- Fully Remote

£45,000 plus excellent benefits

Start date early February 2024

Our client, a Property and Facilities Management Solutions firm with a national portfolio of around 600 Residential and Commercial properties is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team on a 12month contract basis. As Procurement Manager, you will be part of a wholly owned subsidiary company of one of the Uk’s leading Real Estate firms.

The role of the Procurement Manager is to ensure compliance supplier approval guidelines, manage tenders for facilities services to CIPS guidelines and provide support and training  for staff with regards to procurement process, including raising purchase and contract orders and processing invoices.

 

The role is fully remote but will require 1 to 2 days a month at their central London office.

 

Resonsibilities

 

  • To head the Procurement Team To assist with the co-ordination, on-boarding, management, monitoring and procurement of suppliers
  • Maintain, update and improve all management records used for logging, recording and monitoring performance and compliance of all suppliers to the relevant contracts
  • To assist in the sourcing of appropriate suppliers to invite to tender, management of the tender process to CIPS guidelines and selection of successful candidates
  • Review Master Services Agreements
  • Run regular reports from supplier management systems to ensure that supplier approval is maintained, or managed where lapsed.
  • Liaise with suppliers to discuss any potential issues
  • Support the FM Directors and Team with on-going FM procurement projects
  • To assist with the implementation of any service recovery plans, issuing of improvement notices and termination letters and Work Orders where supplier performance does not meet expected standards

You will have proven procurement management experience  (hold a CIPS level 3) and have line managed staff In a previous role as well as run tenders and managed contracts.
