My client a well established mechanical and electrical engineering company based in the Burnley area are looking for an experienced Office and Accounts Administrator to join their team.
The successful candidate will be central to transforming the organisation into a paperless office.
You will be responsible for key tasks throughout the day, allowing the current team to focus on their core roles and delivery further success.
An element of this position will be supporting the directors with crucial administrative support to enable the smooth running of the business and high productivity output.
You will be a dedicated part of the team that provides outstanding services to some of the country's biggest engineering brands.
Key Duties:
Ensure all invoices are accurate and distributed at the correct time
Reconcile payments accurately and allocate to the correct invoices
Provide periodic invoice reporting
Credit Control, monitor payment terms and chase outstanding payments
Provide credit files on new customers
Pay suppliers with correct PO's Book travel
Support directors, assist them to manage a business operating across four time zones
Support colleagues as needed to ensure they can focus on core roles
General administrative tasks within the accounts office
Experience required
Intermediate Microsoft skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Previous strong administrative skills
Outstanding organisational skills
Ability to be flexible with work arrangements when required
It would be advantageous for candidates applying to have a qualification within accounts or finance, although candidates with a strong work background in this field will also be considered for the position
Working 8-5pm Monday to Friday
