_Key Responsibilities: _
- - Effectively manage team of Recruiters, On Boarding Specialists / HR Administrators, Senior HR Administrator and HR Officer to ensure transparency, consistency and efficiency across the department.
- Developing an understanding of the market conditions in areas we recruit to.
- Working closely with Assistant Regional Directors and Deputy Regional Directors to ensure recruitment and all HR processes run smoothly within the homes.
- Building relationships within the team, Head Office and the Homes, whilst providing excellent customer service to our candidates.
- Maintaining and ensuring all in-house spreadsheets are accurate and up to date and regularly reviewed.
- Collate relevant data for Recruitment/HR meetings.
- Attend recruitment meetings with the Senior Management Team and update on the recruitment and HR processes.
- Be responsible for the day to day running of the department and ensure all tasks are completed by all members of the team accurately and in a timely manner.
- To conduct criminal record risk assessments as and when required.
- To conduct regular supervisions with all team members to ensure they are meeting their agreed KPI s and to discuss their performance within the team.
- To ensure any leavers are entered onto the payroll system accurately and removed from the staff list.
- To ensure all letters are sent out via email/post to the relevant staff member, ensuring they are GDPR compliant.
- Drafting letters relating to recruitment or HR practice.
- To ensure all agency transfers are processed in an accurate and timely manner when moving to CCG.
- To ensure a positive working environment.
- To implement new bonus (refer a friend, new starter etc)
- To ensure all team members are compliant and have a good understanding of employment law.
- To discuss and approve any requested annual leave from the team.
- Ensuring the long service award is maintained and executed on time and accurately each month.
- Manage relationships with outsourced companies - such as payroll and in house departments.
- To support and review policies and procedures to meet the needs of the business, changes in legislation and best practice.
- To be aware of all team members job descriptions and KPI s, provide support in order to help the team become more efficient and accurate.
- To create job descriptions and ensure they are accurate.
- To work on projects in conjunction with other departments and external companies as and when required.
- Ad hoc recruitment projects - attending job fairs etc.
- Ad-hoc project work and reporting
- Organise and categorise the joint HR Mailbox to ensure all emails are dealt with proactively and in a professional manner relating to the tasks above.
- Taking minutes for disciplinary hearings as and when required.
- Attend weekly conference calls as required.
- To attend regular supervisions with the DRD and to ensure all agreed KPI s are completed efficiently.
- Conduct all work with sensitivity and confidentiality.
- To answer phone calls, take messages and/or guide to the correct person.
- Contributing towards the improvement of processes/methods of operating practices within the department.
