A unique opportunity has arisen to join a completely borderless web3 scale up, with employees all around the world, working fully remotely across different time zones. This innovative way of working has seen great success since their inception, and now they need a positive and collaborative HR Business Partner to play a pivotal role in driving their growth forward, in a client facing role.  This person will ideally be based in Amsterdam, but potentially open to other UK and European based talent, too.  

Roles and responsibilities:


  • Overseeing the full employee life cycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits all the way through to the off-boarding lifecycle
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, to ensure processes are standardized across jurisdictions and across all areas of the employee lifecycle
  • Schedule and lead weekly check-in meetings with client employees; act as key point of contact on all HR queries in line with jurisdictional laws globally
  • Develop strong working relationships with all managers and department heads, offering coaching and leadership to assist with training and development
  • Create reports, analyse and provide relevant data and metrics to drive process efficiency
  • Act as a resource and advisor to align all areas of HR matters such as performance management, coaching, onboarding, offboarding, learning and development, disciplinaries and company policies and procedures.
  • Support and manage ad hoc initiatives and projects
Skills and experienced required:


  • Proven track record working within an HR generalist role, or an ER Specialist role within an international web3 start-up
  • Thorough understanding of international employment law and Employee Relations – how to effectively research these when working across multiple jurisdictions is key
  • Extremely organised with the ability to prioritise workload, and capable of working across multiple time zones effectively
  • Must be self-motivated and passionate about delivering a high-quality service and experience for all, customer-oriented approach
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to build relationships quickly based at all levels; high level of emotional intelligence
