I am currently recruiting for a well-established client, based in the Colchester area. This is a Senior Pensions Administrator position. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years pensions experience and will require access to a vehicle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Processing a wide range of documentation
  • Resolving customer enquiries based on competent working knowledge of the customer requirements
  • Provision of administration service including calculation of member benefits to
  • Maintenance of up to date filing and records for department
  • Drafting of non-standard correspondence in response to customer enquiries
  • Overseeing and checking the work of less experienced Team members
  • Coaching and supporting colleagues with technical guidance and identify team members training needs
  • Be a point of referral for complex enquiries
  • Allocating workload within the team
  • Assisting the Team Leader by deputising as required to attend meetings

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following;

  • Minimum of 3 years pension experience
  • Excellent communication skills: written and oral
  • Excellent IT skills and a willingness and aptitude to learn a variety of systems
