Customer Service Representative
The Customer Service Representative is a member of the Supply Chain Management function, reporting into the Team Leader. This role will be responsible mainly for intercompany movements management, serving internal customers which will include, but not limited to - order entry, removal of blocks, coordinating with shipping plants, communicating with IBP teams, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date. The role will be supporting several business units and working in two or three ERP systems. This assignment is an integral part in the on-going project implementation, with a potential to evolve into a permanent position within Customer Service.
The Customer Service Representative should exhibit task ownership and be able to work in the fast-paced environment. Excellent technical and operational customer service skills are essential with knowledge in all aspects of order entry, processing and maintenance which should be performed with little or no supervisory guidance. We are looking for an individual who is a quick learner, good at time management, takes pride in accurate work, turns problems into opportunities, enjoys working in an international, dynamic team and has friendly and cooperative spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account ownership and management of (internal) customer relationships.
- Communicate effectively with warehouses, plants and all other internal groups required to meet OTIF (on-time-in-full) targets and minimise block and errors.
- Understanding the demand requirement planning process, which is key to successful order fulfilment.
- Understand and follow business policies, compliance regulations, export requirements.
- Proactively track and trace orders life cycle. Making sure orders reviewed from blocks daily and all the bottle necks are addressed and resolved in timely manner.
- Ensure all information required for order fulfilment (including customs required details, tax, origin, dangerous goods data, etc) is accurate and provided on time.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Fluent in English - written and spoken. German or Italian or French desirable in addition.
- Good working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Understanding and ownership of supply chain process gained in a technical or manufacturing background.
- Understanding of Trade and Customs formalities.
- Ability to navigate high-stress situations and achieve goals on time.
- Problem solving skills and ability to devise improved means of accomplishing results.
- Exceptional inter-personal skills and use of these skills in a customer focused environment.
- Encourages team spirit and promotes knowledge sharing.
